I worked on the plot twist scene again, refining and rewording, then added to the end. At some point I've got to put these scenes in order, but for now, writing out of sequence appears to be working. I hope to continue in this manner the next few days. The end draws near...

In the midst of planning all these intricate battle scenes, I had neglected to consider the conclusion to the many emotional character arcs that I'd created for this particular sequel. The solution was simple.  Get more specific with the battle scenes, so I could use them to demonstrate the manifestations of these character arcs, and then create some sort of conclusion for these internal as well

I had a momentary break from children today, so I took the opportunity to flush out the plot breakdown for the sequel to "The Line," if there is one. Not to get ahead of myself, but if for some small miracle it actually gets picked up by a publisher (I'm cautiously optimistic, but I'm far from certain), it's customary for traditional publishers to pick up two or three of the author's next books,

Four nights of "Night Writing" and I'm feeling like an Unconsecrated.  For those of you who have not read "Forest of Hands and Teeth" by Carrie Ryan, that means I feel like a zombie.
