I write. I have a family. I run a household. I volunteer. I'm a little busy -- as you may guess. More coffee, anyone?

Patience of A Different Nature

It's been a few weeks since I've written.  Life has taken hold of my existence, and I find myself "not in the mood."  The simple fact is, I'm writing the ending of "The Beast Reign" (Book 2 of The Beast Girl Series) out of sequence, when the mood strikes, or, when I don't have a billion other things to do, and today, at least I got a little bit done.

I had written two scenes previously that needed a transition scene to connect the two, so I wrote the transition scene, then re-worked the existing scenes so they were fluid.

YAY!

It feels good.

I fully intend to write more later today.

Come the first of the year I really must be back into the writing groove.
I am so close to finishing "The Beast Reign," it's a shame I just can't sit down in one sitting and get it done in a flash.

But, for whatever reason, my brain refuses to rush writing the ending, in fact, my brain has rather DEMANDED a writing break, so instead of forcing the issue (I am in the fortunate position of having no real deadline with this particular draft), I am taking my time...Which translates to taking no time to write, but to live, to clean, to work, to catch up, to whatever...

I expect to hear whips cracking on January 3rd.  I only hope my brain will respond appropriately.
